*Raffles possessed exquisite Arabian type.
In 1933 he was named Three-Gaited Champion at the National Arabian Show
in Nashville. His natural action was extremely high and he could perform
five gaits when asked.

Skowronek
1909 Grey Arabian Stallion
Reference Sire
He was a small horse described as being exceptionally beautiful, with good
substance, lovely action and presence, and very correct conformation.
He foaled in Poland, was imported to England, and later purchased by Lady
Wentworth. Skowronek won numerous show titles for Crabbet Stud,
but more important were his foals. According to Lady Wentworth:
"With the monopoly of
Skowronek as a sire, I founded a completely new dynasty ...
the Stud was raised to a standard of world celebrity never before achieved."
Skowronek horses are known for their athletic ability, versatility, correct
conformation, substance, intelligence, good disposition, quality, and of
course TYPE.
