Skowronek
1909 Grey Arabian Stallion
Reference Sire

He was a small horse described as being exceptionally beautiful, with good substance, lovely action and presence, and very correct conformation.

He foaled in Poland, was imported to England, and later purchased by Lady Wentworth.  Skowronek won numerous show titles for Crabbet Stud, but more important were his foals.  According to Lady Wentworth:  "With the monopoly of Skowronek as a sire, I founded a completely new dynasty ... the Stud was raised to a standard of world celebrity never before achieved."

Skowronek horses are known for their athletic ability, versatility, correct conformation, substance, intelligence, good disposition, quality, and of course TYPE.
