This stretchy Saddlebred mare is very sweet natured and easy to handle. But when she
"turns it on", she has an amazing trot!
She has one dark eye and one blue eye. She would be a great cross for black/white pinto
half-Arabian foals.
She has been DNA tested by University of California, Davis to determine if she is homozygous for the pinto gene.
There are three results possible:
TO/TO - Horse highly likely to be homozygous for pinto
TO/to - Markers consistent for heterozygous tobiano. Horse is expected to pass spotting to 50% of the progeny.
to/to - Markers inconsistent with horse being tobiano.
The DNA results show Fyre to be TO/TO - homozygous for pinto.
